Leys: Secret Spirit Paths in Ancient Britain. Many ancient peoples built their sacred sites in dead straight lines. The magical paths involved astronomy and geomancy, and were used for spirit flight both by the living as they slept or travelled in shamanic trance, and by spirits of the dead, both recently and long deceased.
